Argan, Inc. (AGX: Quote), Thursday, reported a surge in profit for the fourth quarter as revenues increased.
The Rockville, Maryland-based company reported a fourth-quarter net profit attributable to stockholders of $4.58 million or $0.33 per share, compared to $0.92 million or $0.07 per share last year.
Total revenues for the quarter rose to $55.92 million from $31.81 million in the prior year quarter.
