"Hot In Cleveland" star and renowned prankster Betty White joined the Twitter world this week and wasted no time goofing on her co-star Valerie Bertinelli. The 90-year-old joined the micro-blogging site to plug her new Fox series "Betty White's Off Their Rockers" but made sure to have a little fun with Bertinelli in the process.

Shortly after White made her first announcement on Twitter, Bertinelli hit her own account telling fans that it must have been an imposter: "Just spoke with Betty and she is VERY upset! @BettyMWhite is NOT her. Don't know how they got verified, but it is not Betty. Please RT!"

Bertinelli quickly replied to her own message, however, explaining that White had been pulling her leg:

"It's all a misunderstanding . . . @BettyMWhite IS Betty's twitter account! Now follow me back, b-!"

White also reached out to Ryan Seacrest to plug the new show, writing: "Hey @RyanSeacrest - my new show airs tomorrow and I hear we're in the same time slot. I've always dreamed of sharing a night with you . . ."
