During New York afternoon trading on Thursday, the Swiss franc spiked up further against major currencies. The franc is currently trading near new multi-day highs of 88.94 against the Japanese yen, 1.4532 versus the British pound and 0.9094 against the euro, compared to Wednesday's New York session close of 88.18, 1.4597 and 0.9176, respectively.
Against the euro, the Swiss currency also edged up further in afternoon session and as of now worth 1.2015 from previous session's low of 1.2031.
