Ceres Q2 Loss Widens

Energy crop company Ceres Inc. (CERE) Thursday reported second-quarter net loss of $6.8 million or $2.48 per share, compared to $5.4 million or $2.72 per share in the same period last year.

Total revenues for the quarter dropped to $1.3 million from $1.6 million last year.
