Poland's consumer price inflation slowed in March, data released by the statistical office showed Friday.
Annual inflation eased to 3.9 percent in March from 4.3 percent in February. The latest figure matched economists' forecast.
Prices of food and soft drinks rose 3.7 percent annually, while clothing and footwear prices decreased 4.4 percent. There was a 6 percent year-on-year increase in housing costs and energy prices during the month, and a 9.3 percent gain in transportation costs.
On a monthly basis, consumer prices moved up 0.5 percent in March, slightly faster than the 0.4 percent growth economists expected.
