Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been rumored to be prepping for a joint onscreen appearance for the first time since 2005's "Mr. and Mrs. Smith."
In 2011, Pitt said that the couple was alternating film roles "so one can be with the kids and one's free to work."
Now, according to a report from Deadline, the pair will star alongside Michael Fassbender and Javier Bardem in the Ridley Scott directed film, "The Counselor."
The plot follows Fassbender's character, a drug dealing lawyer, while Pitt co-star's as a business associate of his. Jolie is in talks for the female lead for the Cormac McCarthy written script.
"The Counselor," which will be shot in Europe, will begin filming within the next few months.
