Mumford and Sons are putting on two daylong outdoor events dubbed The Gentlemen of the Road Stopover this summer--one in Huddersfield, Greenhead Park, U.K. on June 2, and another at Galway's Salthill Park in Ireland on June 9.
"The Gentlemen of the Road Stopover is based loosely upon our favourite festivals like Colorado's Telluride Bluegrass and Scotland's Loopallu Festivals. We want to stop off in towns not usually heavily toured by bands, and celebrate the people, food and music that inhabit them," said the band in a statement.
Joining the group at the events are Michael Kiwanuka, Willy Mason and the Correspondents (Huddersfield); and, Zulu Winter, the Vaccines and Willy Mason (Galway).
Mumford and Sons will also be touring throughout the U.K. during the summer, performing in Cardiff, Gateshead, Lowestoft and Bury St. Edmonds.
