Google Inc. (GOOG) reported first quarter non-GAAP EPS of $10.08 after the bell Thursday, up from $8.08 in the previous year. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $9.65. The company also announced plans to create a new class of non-voting capital stock, which will be distributed through a stock dividend to all existing shareholders.
Google declined until around 1:30PM Friday and finished lower by 26.41 at $624.60, with volume at a 3-month high. The stock fell to nearly a one-month low and closed testing its 50-day moving average.
