Tranzeo Wireless Technologies Responds To Avnet Lawsuit

Tranzeo Wireless Technologies Inc. (TZT.V) said Friday that it is aware of the notice of claim filed by Avnet Inc. with respect to its assertion that Tranzeo owes monies regarding certain inventory transactions.

Tranzeo said it is investigating the claim and will respond accordingly after an examination of the facts.

U.S. airlines collected a record $7.1 billion in revenue from fees for checked baggage and for changing or canceling reservations, reflecting a marked increase from 2010, according to a government report. The U.S. Government Accountability Office or GOA said in a report that U.S. airlines' revenue from these two fees increased to $7.1 billion in 2016 from $6.3 billion in 2010, in constant dollars. Ride-hailing company Uber's license to operate in London will not be renewed at the end of September, the transportation regulator in the UK capital said Friday. The move deals a huge blow to Uber and will impact more than 40,000 drivers using the company's app in London. Wal-Mart Stores Inc. is testing a new service that not only does a customer's grocery shopping and brings the items to his home, but even puts the grocery directly into the refrigerator. Walmart said it is partnering with August Home, a provider of smart locks and smart home accessories, to test the service in Silicon Valley.
