Keri Hilson was recently featured in a public service announcement for Epic Book Drive, in which she stressed to children the importance of reading and donating books to those less fortunate.

The "Pretty Girl Rock" songstress has teamed up with DoSomething.org to tell kids to join in this nationwide book drive effort and to donate books to people in need in their communities.

"Joining DoSomething.org's newest effort to provide for people in need with Epic Book Drive was the easiest decision ever!" said Keri, who started her own keriCARES! Foundation. "I truly believe providing access to those who want to learn is the key to bettering lives around the country. And helping kids find healthy outlets, such as books, has always been a passion of mine. So my involvement here is a natural fit."

The book drive campaign runs until May 18. For more information, visit www.dosomething.org/epic.
