ChipMOS TECHNOLOGIES (Bermuda) LTD. (IMOS) reported its unaudited consolidated revenue for the month and quarter ending March 31, 2012.
Revenue for the month of March was NT$1.51 billion or $51.3 million, down 3.4% from the same period in 2011. Sequentially, revenue was up 6.0% from the previous month.
On a quarterly basis, revenue for the first quarter was NT$4.38 billion or $148.6 million, down 1.9% from the prior-year quarter. Sequentially, revenue was 4.9% lower than the prior quarter.
Looking ahead, the company remains very optimistic about its business prospects for 2012 and longer-term based on existing customer forecasts.
