Hip-hop fans down under were treated to performances by some of the biggest names in the genre over the weekend as the Supafest concert kicked off in Australia.

On April 14, day one of the Supafest shows began in Brisbane, Australia at the RNA Showgrounds, where fans got a chance to check out performances from the likes of Chris Brown, Trey Songz, Kelly Rowland and T-Pain. The next day, all of those artists moved over to Sydney, where they performed a second set for concertgoers there.

Next weekend the festival will continue, with most of the artists on the star-studded line-up expected to play the festival's stops in both Melbourne and Perth.

It is still anyone's guess if Rick Ross will make it to the second round of shows, though. A day before the festival was expected to begin this past weekend, ticket holders were sent a text message informing them that Ross would be forced to bow out of at least the first two dates. The public relations team handling things for Supafest said Ross had been paid by the festival and they were initially unsure why he didn't make it to Brisbane.
