Mark Ruffalo has reportedly committed to appear alongside Steve Carell in director Bennett Miller's new drama "Foxcatcher." The film tells the true story of paranoid schizophrenic millionaire John Du Pont, who opened a training center for Olympic wrestlers on his 800-acre Pennsylvania farm.
Ruffalo will play the role of wrestler David Schultz, whom Du Pont murdered when he believed there was an international conspiracy to kill him. Channing Tatum will also co-star as Schultz's younger brother Mark.
The news comes at a busy time for Ruffalo, who will next appear as The Hulk in "The Avengers" opening May 4. He'll also appear in "Thanks For Sharing" from director Stuart Bloomberg, which hits theaters in August.
