Jack White will mark the release of his first solo album by streaming a live concert online as part of the American Express "Unstaged" series, which pairs notable musicians with directors that film the musicians live concert.
White will be paired with actor/director Gary Oldman, who is perhaps better known as an actor, but did direct the critically-acclaimed 1997 film Nil by Mouth.
The show will be the first installment in the third season of American Express' "Unstaged" series and will be filmed at White's concert at New York's Webster Hall on April 27. The concert will be streamed live at 9 p.m. on VEVO.
The "Unstaged" series has in the past featured such acts as Coldplay, Mary J. Blige and Arcade Fire.
White's first solo album Blunderbuss will come out just a few days prior to the streamed concert.
