Revenues rose to $12.91 billion from $12.85 billion in the prior year. The consensus estimate was for $12.84 billion. Second quarter revenues are expected to be $13.6 billion, plus or minus $500 million. The consensus estimate is for $13.43 billion. The stock is now down 0.80 on 5.9 million shares.
Intel traded in a range for the majority of Tuesday's session and closed up by 0.06 at $28.47 on above average volume. The stock closed challenging the upper end of a one-month range at the highs of the year.
