Community Trust Bancorp Q1 Profit Rises - Quick Facts

Community Trust Bancorp Inc.'s (CTBI) first quarter net income advanced to $11.9 million, or $0.77 per share from $9.3 million, or $0.61 per share last year. On average, 4 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected earnings per share of $0.63 for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude one-time items.

Net interest income for the quarter increased 1.3% year-over-year to $33.0 million from $32.57 million, and total noninterest income was $11.19 million, a 4.2% rise from $10.74 million a year earlier.
