Tailgates & Tanlines, the latest studio effort from Luke Bryan, has been certified platinum, the R.I.A.A. has announced. The LP, which was released in August 2011, is the first one to reach that milestone for Bryan.
T&T debuted at number one after selling 145,000 copies in its first week; it has also bore two platinum selling singles: "Country Girl (Shake It for Me)" and "I Don't Want This Night to End."
The most recent single from the album, "Drunk on You," has peaked at number 16 on the Billboard Country songs chart.
Bryan is set to hit the road in May along with Jason Aldean on the latter's My Kinda Party tour. Prior to that, he will hit Reno, Nevada on April 26 and the Stagecoach Country Music Festival in Indio, California on April 28.
