Netherlands' unemployment rate remained unchanged for the second straight month in March, data released by the Central Bureau of Statistics showed Thursday.
The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate came in at 5.9 percent in January, unchanged from the previous two months. In March 2011, the jobless rate was 5.1 percent.
The number of unemployed persons in the country moved up to around 465,000 in March from about 463,000 in the previous month.
Meanwhile, the number of persons claiming unemployment benefit decreased 1.1 percent month-on-month to around 295,600 during the month.
