Unemployment in Slovakia decreased moderately in March, data released by the Labor Office showed Thursday.
The unemployment rate edged down to 13.69 percent in March from 13.76 percent in February. The number of job applicants decreased by 3,397 month-on-month to 408,404 in March.
At the same time, the number of available unemployed persons, which refers to the number of people registered as unemployed by labor offices and are able to start work shortly, dropped to 369,845 during the month, the agency said.
