Lady Gaga joins Adele and Rihanna as the leading nominee getters at next month's Billboard Music Awards. Gaga finds herself nominated for ten categories, while RiRi is up for 13 and Adele leads the way with 18 noms. Party rockers LMFAO are nominated in 17 categories.
Gaga is nominated for, among others, Top Artist, Top Female Artist, and Top Billboard 200 album (Born This Way).
The awards are based on Billboard's chart rankings, and combine data from album sales and downloads, track downloads, radio airplay and touring in addition to streaming and social interactions with fans on Facebook, Twitter, Vevo, YouTube, Spotify and other popular online music services. The show will take place at Las Vegas' MGM Grand and be broadcast live on ABC on May 20.
