Medicure Inc. (MPH.V, MCUJ.PK) reported that its third-quarter net loss was $0.4 million or break even per share, compared to income of $1.1 million or $0.01 per share in the third quarter a year ago.
Net revenue from the sale of AGGRASTAT finished product for the three months ended February 29, 2012 was $660,000 compared to $1.22 million for the same quarter last year.
The decrease in revenues compared to the same periods from the previous fiscal year is primarily attributable to an overall decline in use of injectable antiplatelet drugs and normal fluctuations in wholesale purchasing.
