Riverbed Technology Inc. (RVBD: Quote) reported first quarter non-GAAP net income of $0.20 per share after the close Thursday, which was flat with last year. The consensus estimate was also for EPS of $0.20. Revenues climbed to $183 million, from $164 million in the prior year. The consensus estimate was for revenues of $186.13 million.
Riverbed Technology gapped open dramatically lower Friday and slipped beneath the day's range late in the afternoon. The stock closed down by 8.01 at $19.85 on the highest volume of the year and sank to a 6-month low.
