K12 Inc. (LRN) announced that Timothy Murray will join the Company as its President and Chief Operating Officer.
The company said that Murray begins his new role at K12 today, Monday, April 23. He will report to the Company's Chief Executive Officer, Ron Packard.
Most recently, Murray served as Chief Executive Officer of Pulsepoint, Inc., a digital media technology company formed by ContextWeb. He joined ContextWeb in March of 2010 and served as the company's CEO.
Prior to ContextWeb, Murray was chief operating officer of Dialogic Inc. Murray began his career at AT&T in 1980 and over the next twenty years was promoted to positions of increasing responsibilities, including in sales, marketing, operations, engineering, and product management. He left AT&T in 2001 after serving as Executive Vice President, Business Service Operations.
