At 8:30 am ET Monday, Canada's wholesale sales data for February was released. Following the data, the loonie gained slightly against its major counterparts.
The loonie is now trading at 81.42 against the yen, 0.9970 against the greenback, 1.3085 against the euro and 1.0255 against the aussie.
