E! News' Giuliana Rancic and her husband Bill have confirmed that they're expecting their first baby. The pair have been plagued by infertility and Giuliana's recent battle with breast cancer.
During a recent interview on the "Today" show, Rancic broke the news saying: "We are so thrilled that our prayers have been answered. We are absolutely ecstatic to be sharing this with everyone who has been following our journey."
Rancic revealed that the pair are having the child via a gestational surrogate, which means they are the genetic parents, but another woman is carrying the child. She also said that they know the child's gender, but they're waiting to tell the media, saying: "we're seeing how long we can keep it secret."
Giuliana suffered a miscarriage in 2010 and at the time she believed she'd never be a mom, telling "Today": "I said, 'I'm not doing this again. I can't.' I was angry at life and at God."
