Keith Urban was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry on Saturday, April 21.
The Australian country singer was inducted by fellow country singers Trace Adkins and Josh Turner. Urban had previously received the invite from Vince Gill, Rascal Flatts, the Oak Ridge Boys and Diamond Rio in Nashville on April 10 during All for the Hall concert. It was at this concert where they raised $465,000 for the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
Before the ceremony Urban expressed his gratitude for the honor:
"This opportunity for me is a way to say they don't know how much they mean to me . . . They're why I do what I do."
Urban's wife actress Nicole Kidman was present for the event.
