Pete Townshend's autobiography, Who I Am, is now available for pre-order; its release date does not arrive until October.
The memoir covers several areas of his life from youth, through his heyday with The Who to the present. "What I've never really done is just my story from my point-of-view," he says in a new promotional clip. "I can talk about the first moment that I thought about a song, what it was that was going through my head."
"When this book is published, the anthems will still be the ones that are most well-known," he adds. "The 'Baba O'Riley,' 'Won't Get Fooled Again,' 'Pinball Wizard' [and] 'See Me, Feel Me.'"
Who I Am is available for pre-order through several online retailers.
