ADVA Optical Networking (ADVOF.PK) reported IFRS net income of 4 million euros or 0.08 euros per share versus loss of 2.3 million euros or 0.05 euros per share last year.
Quarterly revenues improved to 81.7 million euros from 70.4 million euros in the prior year.
Looking forward, the company said while the fragile global economy still demands a cautious sentiment, it expects second quarter 2012 revenues to be between 81 million euros and 86 million euros. Further, ADVA Optical Networking anticipates second-quarter pro forma operating income to range between 3% and 7% of revenues.
