Symantec Corp. (SYMC) announced Tuesday morning that it now expects to report fourth quarter adjusted EPS of approximately $0.38, compared to its previous forecast of $0.41 to $0.42. The consensus estimate is for EPS of $0.42.
Symantec gapped open sharply lower Tuesday and declined until around 2:00 PM. The stock ended the session down by 2.06 at $16.01 on the highest volume in over 11 months. Symantec dropped to over a 3-month low and fell below its 200-day moving average.
