The Australian dollar that climbed to a 4-week high of 1.2733 against its New Zealand counterpart at the beginning of Wednesday's European session reversed direction shortly around 4:10 am ET. The aussie-kiwi pair reached as low as 1.2705 before leveling off around 5:15 am ET.
