Nadya Suleman, better known to the common man as Octomom, has recently been visited by police and child welfare officials after reports indicated that her 14 children were living in squalor.
The entertainment news website TMZ.com reported that Suleman's hairstylist informed police that the house was in poor condition and there was only one working toilet in the home. There are apparently porta-potties in the backyard.
Other complaints included Octomom not giving her children adequate care as they appeared malnourished and unbathed.
La Habra police Sgt. Daniel Barnes says officers and Orange County Department of Family and Children's Services officials left Suleman's home Tuesday evening after determining the children weren't in danger.
Suleman gave birth to eight children, the world's longest living octuplets, in 2009.
