Transportation Services, Inc. (PTSI: Quote) posted first-quarter net income of $674 thousand or $0.08 per share, compared to a net loss of $1.98 million or $0.21 per share in the comparable quarter last year.
Operating income for the quarter was $1.1 million, compared to an operating loss of $3.8 million in the prior year quarter.
Operating revenue for the quarter rose 13 percent to $96.16 million from $85.03 million in the year-ago period.
