Russell Brand has been removed from Katy Perry's upcoming 3D documentary at the behest of Perry herself. A source, speaking to U.K.'s The Sun, says she wants every trace of Brand removed from her life.
"There's loads of stuff in there that relates to her life with Russell and she's really not comfortable about it all going in," the source said.
Katy Perry: Part of Me is set for release in the U.S. on July 4. The "Firework" singer broke the news while speaking with Kelly Osbourne on the red carpet at the Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Awards.
"Listen, I've [worked on] most of this film for a very long time and the word 'cheap' was not in the vocabulary," Perry previously remarked to MTV regarding the film. "But, hello, it's 3-D. You're going to get hit with a lot of sh--."
