Scotty McCreery made his acting debut on the CW's Hart of Dixie, appearing as himself as he performed his hit single "The Trouble With Girls."
Though McCreery played himself and did not have a speaking part aside from singing, he was involved in a pivotal point in the episode. McCreery's appearance came during a heated moment between two main characters, but when he took the stage, one of the characters excitedly dropped the intimacy to proclaim, "Scotty McCreery? Holy crap!"
The American Idol winner sported a black T-shirt while performing the tune in a bar. His "The Trouble With Girls" served as perfect background music for Rachel Bilson's character Zoe as she slow danced and shared a smooch with George, played by Scott Tucker.
