Switchfoot has announced the lineup for the band's 8th annual Bro-Am event, a unique concert experience that combines live music with a surfing contest.

In addition to Switchfoot, the event will feature Dead Feather Moon and The Howls, among others. The event will raise funds for StandUp for Kids, an association that strives to serve homeless, at-risk and street kids. Since its inception in 2005, the Bro-Am has raised more than $500,000 for San Diego-based children's charities.

"The Bro-Am has been my favorite day of the year ever since we started it back in '05," Switchfoot singer Jon Foreman said in a statement. "To see our hometown come together to help out a deserving group of kids is an incredible experience — surfing, music, and the San Diego scene at its best. We feel truly honored to again partner with StandUp for Kids, an incredible organization serving at-risk youth here in San Diego and across the country. Last year was our biggest year ever, and we hope to top it again this year."

The 8th annual Bro-Am event is June 16 at Moonlight Beach in Encinitas, California.
