Amid the release of German import price index for March and GfK consumer confidence for May at 2.00 am ET Friday, the euro fell against other major currencies.
The euro is now trading at 1.3179 against the greenback, 106.59 against the yen, 1.2018 against the franc and 0.8153 against the pound.
