Train has been announced as just one of the headlining acts for the 2012 Indiana State Fair. Train will take to the stage on August 4.
The pop rockers will be joined at this year's Indiana State Fair by a number of highlight acts, including Blake Shelton (August 7), Journey, Pat Benetar and Loverboy (August 8) and Barry Manilow (August 3).
The 2012 fair concert series has been moved to the Bankers Life Fieldhouse because the Grandstand at the State Fairgrounds has been retired as a fair concert venue. Seven people died and dozens were injured in a stage-rigging collapse shortly before Sugarland was to perform at the 2011 fair.
State Fair officials said a shuttle service will be provided between the fairgrounds and the fieldhouse. Details on how the shuttle will work will be released closer to the concert dates.
Pepsi Coliseum at the State Fairgrounds is expected to host concerts beginning with the 2014 fair.
