The next time Rihanna appears on the big screen, she will be the villain in the latest installment of The Fast and the Furious.
According to The Sun, the film's writers were "so impressed" by Rihanna's acting in the critically-panned Battleship that they were compelled to offer her the role.
"Rihanna impressed with her acting debut in Battleship," a source told the tabloid of Ri-Ri's role. "Writers think she'll be perfect for the role. Her character has plenty of bite and doesn't take any prisoners — just like her in real life. It's a step up the ladder for her and could lead to bigger action roles."
The sixth installment of the franchise is scheduled to be shot over the summer months and will be set in the UK.
