Carlyle Group LP now expects pricing initial public offering of its common stock at $22-$23 per unit range, the Bloomberg reported. Earlier, the company had said in a filing that it expected pricing the IPO between $23.00 and $25.00 per common unit.
The midpoint of Carlyle's price range of $23 to $25 a share values the firm at about 8.3 times the prior yaer's distributable earnings of $881.6 million, adjusted for the effects of the IPO and the acquisition of AlpInvest Partners NV, the report noted.
Carlyle Group's common units have been approved for listing on the NASDAQ Global Select Market under the symbol "CG."
