Queen drummer Roger Taylor says he'll never perform alongside a hologram of Freddie Mercury.
The rock legend was asked by Billboard what he thought of the Tupac hologram from the Coachella Festival and if he'd ever consider a hologram of his late bandmate.
"I don't think I want to. It just doesn't sit too well with me. I don't want to appear with a hologram of my dear friend. It's the real one or no hologram for me," Taylor replied.
He added, however, that he was impressed with the technology and welcomes any other performers that would wish to sit in with a Freddie Mercury hologram:
"I think it's an amazing effect when used properly, obviously in darkness. Were somebody to use a hologram of Freddie, I would have no objection," he adds.
Queen takes the stage with American Idol star Adam Lambert at London's HMV Hammersmith Apollo on July 11 and July 12.
