Carrie Underwood made a stop by Public School 22 on New York's Staten Island last week where she sat in with their school choir.
The country icon invited the boys and girls to sing backup on her tracks "Good Girl" and "So Small" and said it was a thrill to connect with the talented youngsters.
"It just made my heart happy to be here. I feel like I'm a part of the choir now," she told cmt.com of the visit.
The school was also thrilled by the visit and broke the news of Carrie's visit on the choir's website:
"PS22 Chorus of 2012 was treated to one of the most wonderful musical guests we've ever had the pleasure of hosting, the amazing Ms. Carrie Underwood," the choir's website reported.
Carrie later tweeted: "I think myself and everyone else in the music industry right now needs to be worried. You guys are gonna put us all out of a job."
