Former KISS drummer Peter Criss has revealed the cover art for his forthcoming autobiography, Makeup to Breakup: My Life In and Out of Kiss, which shows the 66-year-old donning his trademark 'Catman' makeup and outfit.
The book, published by Simon & Schuster, is scheduled for an October 2012 release and promises to be an "unvarnished" look at the sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll world that Criss lived in while manning the drums for the legendary rock outfit.
Co-written with Larry "Ratso" Sloman, Makeup to Breakup chronicles Criss' rise from his Brooklyn roots to being a member of one of the world's biggest rock groups up to his recent cancer scare.
"I am so blessed that I am finally going to write my autobiography, and I hope you enjoy the ride," Criss told Ultimate Classic Rock last fall. "The best of all is I get to share my true feelings of my love for God, family, friends and fame. It's been a wonderful life."
