Continuing their year-long "Year of the Peach" celebration commemorating the 40th anniversary of their 1972 album Eat a Peach, the Allman Brothers have announced six shows with Santana.
"We've all wanted to do this for a very long time," Gregg Allman said in a statement. "It's been a long time coming and the whole band is looking forward to what's gonna happen on stage together."
"It is a delight and an honor to finally share the stage, and the music, with Gregg Allman, Derek Trucks, Warren Haynes and the Allman Brothers Band," says Carlos Santana.
"This is something that we've hoped to make happen for many years."
