Carrie Underwood, donning a Rochas dress and Cosabella bustier, graces the June issue of Glamour, which hits magazine racks on May 8.
On the inside she posed for a photo shoot and an extensive interview in which she discusses her career and her marriage. She says that her accumulation of wealth and attention has not affected the homeliness of her songwriting:
". . . my husband came from a small town and hardworking parents like I did, and I don't think we've lost that mind-set," she says.
She adds that her husband, hockey player Mike Fisher, has been understanding of her commitment to her career:
"He knew what to expect. In Canada he was a big celebrity, so he knows what it's like living under a microscope. And he travels a lot, which is good for both of us. We're both independent people."
