Rumors are flying about who will be the new female judge on X Factor. While Britney Spears is said to be close to inking a deal with Simon Cowell to become one of the new judges, several outlets are reporting that Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Gwen Stefani, and Avril Lavrigne are under consideration to fill the other vacant spot.
Cowell has two seats total to fill since letting Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger go from the program. Spears is considered a shoe in for the first seat and is rumored to be getting $15 million for the gig.
As far as the second seat, The Hollywood Reporter says that Lovato is already in final negotiations to star on the show.
Fox has declined to comment on the situation, but the second season of the program is slated to kick off in September so an announcement is expected soon.
