A teacup used by Lady Gaga while she spoke at a press conference last year in Japan was put on the block for a charity auction earlier this week. Thus far, bids have gone as high as 1.17 million yen (roughly $14,600) with four days left to bid.

At the time of the presser, which took place in Tokyo three months after Japan was struck by a tsunami, Gaga told reporters that the cup would be auctioned.

The cup itself is smudged with the Mother Monster's lipstick and bears the message "We Pray for Japan," along with an autograph by the pop phenom.

The proceeds from the auction will go to the Tomodachi Arts Fellowship Program, an program which brings Japanese art students to study in the United States.
