The Australian dollar has been falling against most major currencies in early New York deals on Friday.
The aussie is now trading at a new multi-week low of 1.2877 against the euro, compared to Thursday's close of 1.2818.
Against the yen and the greenback, the aussie touched new multi-month lows of 81.65 and 1.0208 with 82.33 and 1.0266 seen as the next downside target levels, respectively.
