Arbor Realty Trust Q1 FFO Rises

Arbor Realty Trust Inc. (ABR: Quote) reported that its first-quarter funds from operations or FFO was $1.9 million, or $0.08 per share, compared to FFO of $0.7 million, or $0.03 per share in the same quarter last year.

Net income attributable to the company for the quarter was $4.2 million, or $0.17 per share, compared to net income of $0.3 million, or $0.01 per share in the year ago quarter.

Net interest income for the quarter increased to $7.85 million from $4.97 million in the year ago quarter. Total other revenues for the quarter increased to $9.06 million from $4.70 million last year.

The company announced that its Board has reinstated a quarterly cash dividend declaring $0.075 per share of common stock for the first quarter ended March 31, 2012. The dividend is payable on May 29, 2012 to common shareholders of record on May 22, 2012. The ex-dividend date is May 18, 2012.
