Seaboard Corp. (SEB) reported that its first-quarter net earnings attributable to the company declined to $82.21 million from $116.86 million in the same quarter last year. On a per share basis, net earnings decreased to $68.00 from $96.11 in the prior year.
Net sales for the quarter were $1.47 billion compared to $1.47 billion in the prior year quarter.
