Air Berlin Plc (AIBEF.PK), Germany's second-largest airline, reported that the number of passengers for the month of April declined 4.3 percent to 2.66 million passengers from 2.78 million passengers last year.
In monthly comparison, the company had reduced capacity by 6.7 percent in a targeted manner in the context of the efficiency-increasing program "Shape & Size".
Capacity utilization was 78.0 percent, an increase of 2 percentage points from the previous year.
